XVII The Star
This card has its energies related to the sign of Aquarius
The Star has an extremely positive meaning in a reading. When it appears, it indicates a time when things are starting to go right. It suggests that conflicts can be appeased, health problems cured, debts paid off, separations that turn into meetings, and situations that become positive, in short, it indicates peace, prosperity and harmony in its response. Sometimes it also indicates the help of someone who will act as your protector.
Aquarius is the sign associated with this Major Arcanum and lends it its creative and humanitarian spirit. The card announces that good times may be approaching or involved with the question, where you can receive help from others and you can have a greater sense that something higher is taking care of you and the situation in question. It also suggests that an Aquarius will be able to interact with the moment or issue, or that you will receive Aquarius influences in some way.
A little more about the card The Star...
The Star is the Tarot card number 17. In this card, we see a woman at the edge of a fountain holding two containers of water. She pours the contents into the earth to nourish it, continuing the cycle of fertility, representing renewal. The five bundles formed by the spilled water represent the five physical senses.
The seven minor stars have various symbolisms due to the importance of the number seven. One of them is the 7 main chakras of our body, which we need to open to maintain our main vital energies. One of the woman’s feet is in the water, which symbolizes intuition, while the other is on land, symbolizing stability, common sense, and practicality.
When the Star card appears in a reading is like a guide for everything to work out, i.e. it is like our guiding star. It indicates that after the period of turmoil brought about by the previous card, The Tower, there is relief and calm after the storm, as if harmony has finally been restored.
